CSS is what makes our sites pretty, but it’s not the most efficient language. This presentation will cover the LESS CSS preprocessor. We’ll talk about how LESS can make CSS fun again, how you can get better CSS file organization and how to deliver compiled minified CSS to the browser.
Prerequisites
This is for WordPress developers who are comfortable with regular CSS and want to learn how to write it faster. You should not be afraid of CSS and setting up minification through a GUI.
Speaker Bio
Curtis McHale is the owner of SFNdesign (http://curtismchale.ca/) (which is really just him at this point) which is a web agency specializing in custom WordPress development. He lives in Chilliwack because that’s enough city for him and spends as much time as possible out of the office with his 2 year old daughter or on his road bike.
