One of the most disparaged tools on any WordPress site, internal search is a powerful tool for helping your users find the content they want if it’s used right. This presentation will cover ways to improve your search form, functions to help with advanced filters and plugins that site owners can utilize to improve their results. We will also talk about content structure in search and ways to improve it. This presentation is for anyone who wants to help their users find their content easier.
Pre-requisites
The majority of this presentation will be for those with some understanding of HTML and PHP. But there will also be discussions of plugins that non-coders can use to improve their site without diving into code.
