Fellow Vancouver WordPress Meetup Group members, it’s time to think about the future. Since we kicked off this group in 2009 it has grown to close to 2000 members, friendships have been forged, companies founded, and we’ve organized some pretty great events with tons of socializing and educational content. Members of the Meetup group have also organized several WordCamps drawing crowds from near and far to learn about WordPress and share their experiences.
For the last several years, the group has been managed and organized by a handful of dedicated volunteers. Now it’s time to pass the torch to the next generation so to speak, to keep the momentum going and bring new ideas and perspectives into the mix.
We need volunteer organizers for the Meetup Group itself, for WordCamp Vancouver, and for Workshops, and when we say “volunteer organizers”, we mean you!
